👋 Hello Friends!

Welcome to Never Finished — the newsletter for professionals who are done applying to 200+ jobs and getting ghosted.

Each week, I share 3 short ideas to help you land interviews on demand — no résumé roulette required.

Let’s get you moving again.

😰 Your Body Panics Before Your Interview Even Begins

The interviewer says:
“Tell me about yourself.”

suddenly your heart starts beating faster, your fingers start shaking, and you start speaking faster than you normally would.

You know the answer. You know you can do the job.

But because you’re nervous, you rush through your response, lose your train of thought, and struggle to explain your experience clearly.

Then you leave the interview thinking:

“I knew the answer. Why couldn’t I show them?”

That’s exactly what happened to one job seeker.

He felt the same nervousness before interviews — but he eventually landed a high-paying MNC role with a 60% salary hike.

📈 From Shaky Interviews to a 60% Hike

Rahul, a Senior Business Analyst, came to me after struggling in interviews.

He knew he could do the job, but his nervousness would take over. His heart would race, his fingers would shake, and he would struggle to answer clearly.

So before his next interview, I gave him short formulas to structure the questions he struggled with.

For “Tell me about yourself,” I told him:

“Walk through your career as a short arc — where you started, what you got good at, and where you want to go next.

Use one specific result with a number. End by naming the exact role you want next.”

A few days later, he was in the interview.

The nervousness was still there.

But when the interviewer asked, “Tell me about yourself,” he didn’t panic about what to say.

He knew where to start, what to talk about, which result to bring in, and how to end his answer.

And that gave him the confidence to handle the questions that followed.

He made it through the interview, cracked it, and eventually landed a high-paying MNC role with a 60% salary hike.

🧩 The Framework That Helped Him Stop Freezing

Before his next interview, I gave him a simple framework to handle the 3 questions he struggled with most.

Instead of memorizing answers, he learned how to structure his response depending on the question.

“Tell me about yourself.”
“Why are you leaving your current role?”
“What’s your biggest weakness?”

I’ve broken down exactly how to respond to each of these, along with examples, in the image above.

The goal wasn’t to memorize the answers. It was to know exactly how to approach them when the pressure hit.

📜 A Quote That Hit Hard This Week

“You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.”

Eleanor Roosevelt

You don’t need to eliminate nervousness before an interview.
You need to learn how to perform through it.

The more you face it with the right structure, the more confident and composed you become.

🎯 If Interviews Make You Feel This Way…

Tell me the one interview question that makes you most nervous.

Reply with it, and I’ll break down how to answer it without freezing in a future edition.

And if you know someone whose nerves take over the moment an interview begins, forward this to them.

It might help them walk into their next interview differently.

Keep going. You’re Never Finished.
